OK, how did you go with the webquest?

Did you learn lots of new things about telecommunications and the Overland Telegraph Line?

Usually when you do a webquest, competitions are NOT part of them. But this is a unique event and we want to give you a real opportunity for winning prizes during the main event between June 18th - July 1st 2001.

Well now it is time that you can really get something from your learning

Did you come to a decision on the BIG QUESTION:

HOW TO ENTER
  1. Schools, classes or individuals can enter
  2. Develop a presentation that answers the BIG question
  3. Choose any one of the following presentation mediums and submit as an email attachment to kdibben@oac.sa.edu.au remembering that entries close by 1st July 2001
    • word document
    • powerpoint presentation
    • hyperstudio file
    • website
  4. Include in your email information about how you used the webquest in your class and what was the most rewarding experience for you?

Criteria
A panel of experts will compare class answers over Australia and the world. The judges will be looking for:

  • evidence of online research
  • good demonstration of presentation tools
  • understanding of Federation and the role of the Overland Telegraph Line
  • your ability to talk about growth in learning
