Pine Creek is a special place. If you
like a warm tropical environment, it has perfect weather,
although non where is paradise! October is hot humid and
like hell on earth, but we all have the wonderful wet season
to look forward to. There are about 500 people in Pine Creek
althought many of the people work in the mine and we don't
get to meet many of them as they work 12 hours a day and
then when they have days off the go to Darwin so we mainly
mix with about 100 to 150 of the population. There are lots
of social activities Whenever people reat out monthly newsletter,
no matter where they are from they always comment on the
number of social and sporting activities we have It can
be a very very hectic social life evern tho we live in the
Bush! |

it is his passion . He works every second weekend at a place

fresh water ones, brumbies, water buffalo, wild cattle,

quolls, rats and mice lots of snakes. At my place we have
lots of Olive Pythons. They eat my baby goats sometimes |

Karen, I grow mangoes, lovely big juicy
mangoes and lots of other tropical fruit. Bananas, soursops,
paw paw, cumquats, granadilla, passionfruit, custard appl,
pine apple and we use the goat manuer to make them all grow! |
